Aspy, can you make sure I had this "fact" correct?

Didn't Alydar and Affirmed run the fastest mile ever in the Belmont?

I thought I had seen that somewhre or read it somewhere.

the local handicapper loved the #11

i was at a loss, so i went with his pick. problem is, he also gave the exacta and tri.

11/1,2,8

I bet 11 and put 11/1,4/9 He cleaned up, guy bets big and knows his stuff.

Is Ride on Curlin still running?

You are asking the wrong guy. I don't know anything about the sport. I was just watching while my brisket finishes up on the smoker.

It's a joke.

Is that enough for him not to have the turn of foot we saw all year and coat him the race ?

He didn't have the breeding or stamina for the extra quarter mile.

He didn't have the breed for the 1 1/4 either. I find it hard to believe as well as he was training that he laid this egg.

From what I was told they "bred the bones" out of racehorses now. They're now bred to be lighter and faster whereas they used to be bigger and more durable. They used to could run a couple of races a week. Now it's hard to do two in a month. That's why the owner was mad that he's running against fresh race horses. It's damn near impossible to run all of those races and beat other horses that aren't running in every race.

Take a look at anything unbridleds song. Skeletons of glass. I'm sad he's dead but not sad for his genes to go.

I love nice big boned turf horses.

They used to be bred for distance. Now they are bred for speed.

I'm pretty jazzed about police malice. Thought a mile may be too short for him. He's fabulous.

Our 3rd to him this winter (with a Louisiana bred) keeps looking better.
