Tampa has not shown to be able to hold a lead and Montreal was going to make 3 more big flurries. Palak was taken away and the Tampa D was giving up odd rushes. It was not like that happened in the late third. It happened in mid 2nd.

For what its worth it was a bad call, but Tampa does not know how to win yet, they proved it Game 1.

CP31's gamesmenship has improved since Sochi though. He used it twice tonight.

Tampa had no choice once Bishop went down, would have been a tough series even with him, but without, well, sweep.

Yep. That third period was enough to get us going in the right direction

Our forecheck has been much better tonight

Has nothing to do with Bishop. They do not know how to win, especially once they decided to trade MSL and Vinnie. They are too young and Montreal was either sweeping them or 5 games no matter who was in net. Montreal has been gearing up for 4 years for next year's run. I wished it wasnt with CP31, but next year is their go for broke.

Watch them pull a deal draft day since the first round is weak. They will use picks and their Minors to get a scorer.

I didn't get a chance to catch the game today, what's all the buzz about a bad call?

Has nothing to do with them being without one of the best goalies in the league this year? I wouldn't go that far, but yes Tampa is very young.

They are the Avs of the East.

Price flopped in goal got an interference call, which should have been called initially. But it was late and Tampa scored a goal and got waved off.

The first time Price got trucked and they should have blown it dead. But ref calling first playoff game let it go and led to a goal, which was a soft goal.

Toad, Bishop would not have helped Tampa this series. Bishop is not good enough to steal a series.

WCA another one people are bitching at is Stamkos got kneed in the head. They think it was PK being PK, but it wasn't. He lost an edge fell into line of 49 and got kneed as 49 went up ice.

I may have number wrong, but I know it wasnt PK being his dickish self, which is unfortunate.

What makes you say that? Bishop was fantastic this year, believe his save % was top 5 in the league among starters and that's on a team with limited defense and offense first mentality.

He was 37-14 with a .924 Save %, and Montreal was 0-3 with 3 goals total against him this season.

Bolts weren't going far with or without Bishop. Not yet, but soon. Yzerman's dumping of Vinny and St. Louis suck in the short term (this year) but the youth movement will pay dividends soon enough.

No doubt, the Callahan MSL trade was great for the Lightning going forward.

Palat is a star.

Tampa is very young.

5th youngest team in the the NHL, and the youngest to make the playoffs. The only teams with a lower average age are the Caps, Flames, Jets, and Sabres. Yet another way the Bolts remind me a lot of the Caps.

Their defense is pretty poor. You could have Ken Dryden in his prime back there and they'd still have problems preventing goals. They are all about scoring.

I thought CBJ was youngest in playoffs?

Coulda swore they said that during Game 1 or 2.

TBL have a much higher ceiling regardless.

Baloo I am very worried that if Therrion screws up this post season and gets swept by Boston it will be Mr Spaceley time in MTL. I think next year is go for broke and mortgage the future. They can not go 23 years between Cups.

I think I hate Keenan more than I hate Price, and that is a deep hate.
