Baw, that horse is worth more at stud then a glue factory.

I think the ratings "went" the moment Exaggerator crossed the finish line last Saturday.
Not a bad thing. We need a few years of no triple crown to build up the novelty factor again. Exaggerator seemed to be the better horse anyway.

What ratings?????? If he had won last week yes...... But what if he had won?????? Why do I have a feeling that infection would all of a sudden disappear.

Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeej, you don't know shite about the ponies. Nyquist had the same issue before the Derby before being shipped to Keeneland for training. He had 5 weeks to recover. They are not fricking around when he could go to stud. I wonder if they put him in the Travers and the Breeders Classic.

Same owners that had I'll Have Another, who also had to be scratched from the Belmont due to injury (and they had a shot at the Triple Crown too).
I'm beginning to wonder if horse racing isn't putting too much stress on the horses. (Or maybe stick with turf racing -- don't hear about problems there)

Sure I do..... Even if he raced the ratings would be shite.

Dude, horses have won the Derby and Preakness and been pulled from the Belmont for various reasons. These trainers are usually pretty careful these days. Stud fees are too lucrative.

Sudden needs a lightening pace to set it up for him.

Much longer distance at Belmont. This sets up very well for Exaggerator.

Not really a high fever. 100-101 normal temp. His was 102 yesterday.

I was a huge I'll have another fan. To this date he's the only derby future bet I've cashed. But, he was not a super sound horse to begin with.

The top 2 y/o filly, winner of the Juv Filly BC last year had the highest ranking for a filly in 18 years was scratched from the Ky Oaks because of a fever. It happens.
