Oh gosh, here it comes. I can hear the narrative already. CTE causes you to become a mass murdering street thug. Ban all of football because...

I wonder if OJ has CTE, and the cognitive damage is making it harder for him to track down the real killer?

How many cases have even been examined for CTE in someone this young? The sample size must be incredibly small. Not surprising this is the "worst case of CTE in this age group" if they've only examined 4 people that fit the criteria. Also his brain was probably messed up from everything else he put in his body all those years. And he was just plain fricked up.

pparently the "outclause" for the patriots paying the bonus was they could cancel future payments if AH was ever convicted of a crime. Per Mass state law, since AH dies before exhausting all his appeals his conviction was thrown out.

Except that he was convicted of a crime, which triggers the clause.

The fact that the conviction is later thrown out is irrelevant.

Some very interesting path slides of his brain - I'm kinda surprised they made these available to the public but I do appreciate it. I wish I could see his histopath slides.

So grown men who are in peak physical condition running full speed at each causes injury? Wow, who the frick knew that?!

This is such bullshite. Everyone and their fricking grandmother knows there are physical side effects to playing professional football. The fact that people sue for this kind of shite is mind boggling.

frick your CTE, frick your concussions and frick your injuries. These players know EXACTLY what they are getting into.

So, what's the theory and how are you going to calculate his lost earnings potential and damaged when he limited it through his own actions. You would have to prove that his CTE caused him to murder people and was incarcerated because of it and had no future earnings potential.

Can CTE eventually become a legal defense for living criminal NFL players?
