Can you kindly post this on the Rant? Quite a few folks over there need a reality check.

Is the argument a player commits to a coach, coach gets $$$ offer and rolls out, so why shouldn’t player have the same freedom to roll out without having to sit a year?

Lies the rant tells me MM is at a disadvantage and while the rest of the sport can retool he couldn’t.

You are correct. It's P6 with the Big East.

He had a few HBCUs offer him out of HS. He has legit NIL deals and should just go wherever helps him most with that. Being in Natchitoches probably ain't it.

Please don't spread that bullshite made up term ESPN created purely to pump the value of the conferences they had big deals with at the time.

Sorry but it’s reality. They make so much more money than everyone else

All of this is why I have no issue with a coach coming in and running off every single player. If a player can just leave anytime they want then a coach should be able to dump them also.

NSU apparently has their new head coach... Rick Cabrera who is currently the head coach of Tallahassee Community College

NSU can't officially announce it yet b/c Tallahassee is in the NJCAA DI National Championship Tournament... having advanced to tomorrow's quarterfinal round in Hutchinson, Kansas

while certainly not a flashy hire... definitely not on par with Will Wade at McNeese... Cabrera certainly seems to have had a lot of success everywhere he's coached so far in his young career

Yea they got men’s basketball right. I’m surprised they don’t do the women there too, tbh.

Sioux City has been a longtime host of the women's basketball tournament

also... KCMO is where the NAIA offices are located

The Demons have another as Northwestern State announced Tallahassee Community College’s Rick Cabrera as the 11th head coach in the history of its men’s basketball program. Cabrera will be introduced to the university and Natchitoches communities in a news conference at a to-be-determined date.
