You mean the way Jordan did when Pippen was injured in the NBA and conf finals in 97 and 98? I just love the excuses that have to be made anytime anyone makes a point for anyone els while these other greats are NEVER given the same treatment. I've said it time and time again Lebron is the only alltime great in any sport that comes with a full page of excuses and is the only one where ppl arnt allowed to bring winning into the convo. It's truly amazing.

They were never all stars until Jordan left. Pippen showed he was one of the best in the world in 1994. BJ Armstrong was the leading all star vote getter among guards in the entire NBA, and 3rd among all players.

I say again, Jordan was in the way.

Lmfao you're trying to make a guy who avged 14ppg look like the best guard in the east now. Better than Penny (avged 7ppg more and much more assists) better than Isaah Thomas better than Joe Dumars and more, all who had infinately better resumes but weren't in the same size market. Just read the previous post wash rinse repeat lmfao. Out of all the posts in this sites history you've just taken the cake with the most ignorant and insane post ever. Lmfao!!!

Nah, it is just funny how people want to use winning titles selectively. Titles matter between Jordan and LeBron, but some kind of way they're irrelevant between Russell and Jordan. They also don't seem to matter in the Kareem vs. Jordan debate. NBA MVPs also seem to get ignored. The only time people care about those accomplishments is in the Jordan vs. LeBron debate. The hypocrisy is tiresome.

Nobody's done that another made up narrative that isn't real and totally off topic. Back to the BJ Armstrong Jordan getting in his way topic lmfao. BJ Armstrongs career best stretch was with Jordan so in fact Jordan made him better like almost every one of his teammates which can't be said for Lebron where almost all of his teammates numbers decrease significantly when they play with him compared to once they're free of him.

Sorry you can't tell the difference between a fact and a troll.

You have been using "winning" as a barometer for the last 20 pages and now you are choosing to ignore it?

quote:

Why do you guys do this you makeup some excuse like they played on bad teams yet Wade was an NBA champion and finals MVP and scoring champ who was arguable every bit as good as Lebron maybe better at the time they teamed up.

I left Dwyane Wade out of the conversation because he will end his career as a Top-50 player, much like a Scottie Pippen.

That being said, Dwyane Wade was/is not the player LeBron James was/is. Sorry, but no statistic supports that claim.

What am I trolling about exactly? The fact that it's a myth Jordan's teams were better, that Lebron played with more allstars? Which fact doesn't fit your agenda so needs to be thrown out? Which excuse are you going to tday?

Well longevity and sustained play will be the biggest thing that Lebron supporters will try to use after his career is over.

I love how you basically say that playing at the highest of levels for the longest of times is a bad thing that pro-lebron folks will "try to use"

You couldn't really be more biased against LeBron than you've been in this thread.

Apples to oranges and how does a first round series equal a finals series? But since you wanna bring up ridiculous and asinine statements why didn't Lebron even make the playoffs the first two seasons?

Things I bet you didn't know:

Lebron's 1st 2 seasons: 77 wins

MJ's 1st 2 seasons: 68 wins

Maybe Lebron should have won 9 less games, been worse, then he could have made the playoffs and been given credit by you?

Things I know you know but choose to ignore.

Jordan only played in 18 games that second year and you're blaming him for a season he wasn't even a part of... Typical.

You criticized LeBron for his 1st 2 seasons, it's only fair to compare it to MJ's 1st 2 seasons.

MJ didn't have a winning record until his 4th season, at 24 years old.

LeBron in his 2nd at 20 years old.

You've really cornered the market on LeBron not being as good early in his career.

It's no excuse, it was a direct response to this

quote:

Lmao Lebron wouldve never even reached a final if he was in Jordan's place not one. Besides the 07 team Lebrons has played on allstar teams

Which I've just shown has no basis in reality.

I know you're trying to refer to a previous convo but guess what I wasn't a part of it and never once said that in fact I said the opposite so stick it straight up your arse you idiot.

Well that's a complete lie. I love the way you guys break pieces off of a totally vanilla and unattached statement then twist it into looking another way and lie about it. I never once criticized Lebrons first two years what I said was comparing a first round loss to a finals loss makes no sense and if you're gonna say stupid shite like that then why ignore Lebron missing the playoffs. You also lied about Jordan not making the playoffs until his 4th year, he made it in his 3rd actually his 2nd year when he participated in a full season. Another lie wS Lebron making the playoffs his second year at 20 years old that's didn't happen either. At this point you've been caught in so many lies nothing you say from here on out can be considered credible. It's repulsive the way you guys behave.
