Is this a repeat of game 1 for the Dodgers except for having 3 runs right now?

Wait just a minute, this is even worse with deGrom warming up. The Mets aren't even leading!

at Gibbons and Collins

I mean, I guess he could come back and start Game 5 and just not go as many innings. And then Noah would come in relief in Game 5?

No idea.

I mean, I kinda get it.

They're at home, and they wanna win it here. Collins thinks that deGrom is going to come in and give you 4 scoreless.

If you can get a couple off of Kershaw or the Dodgers' pen, you're gonna win the series right here.

And if you lost, you still have a stud in Game 5. I don't hate it.

I wouldn't mind him coming in if he can keep the dodgers bats at rest the rest of the game

I mean if deGrom is available he should have just started. While he is well over his previous innings peak, it's the playoffs and you try to win in any way you can.

He can't start bc then they have no one to start Game 1 of the next series

bc Harvey can only go once a series or whatever

ETA: Yeah i know "well there is no next series if you don't win this one!!!11" yada yada yada

How many pounds of bacon you reckon Colon has eaten in his 42 years?

Don't even need deGrom with what Colon is doing.

So Kershaw is done for the night right? I mean do they even attempt to throw him out for the 7th?

I don't think the Dodgers are good enough offensively to need deGrom now.

Just use your best relievers 7-9 and see what happens.

I wouldn't risk it. But be interesting if they do.

Is it just the Cardinals? Or more than that?

i was thinking earlier that he gets pulled after 6 but how hes looking and the fact that hes kept his pitch count low, he goes out for the 7th
