You wouldn't happen to have an extra ticket would ya? I'm in Echo Park fifteen minute walk to the stadium. I'll give you my parking spot!

cubs going to find a new way to extend the drougt

they have found out how to turn Clayton Kershaw's left arm until a machine so he can pitch every game

Better question: Why is the most dominant starting pitcher in baseball married to an OT4?

Maybe he likes the idea of being married just the one time.

He's right you know..... we aren't winning the title if rizz/russel are this bad. You say we are scoring runs but most of those have been miracle homers two of which have been from pitchers! We don't have a Kershaw and honestly I like Jansen better than chapman. Been saying all year well be toast if our bats go mia in the playoffs and they've gone and done it.

We will see how game three goes, but I'm concerned...

Rizzo and Russell are shite right now, couple that with Heyward and then pitcher (I know, most RBIs up until game 1) but the cubs are basically hitting with 5 each game

He may be right, but they scored 3 early on Maeda in Game 1. Kershaw is Kershaw. I think they will be just fine in Game 3 against Rich Hill. Just have Rizz and Russell wear some goofy pajamas on the flight to LA. Surely that'll help them snap out of
It. I am not gonna panic yet.

And maybe leave Heyward out of the lineup.

Your concern is well placed, hitting has been a big problem from day 1 of the playoffs for the Cubs. A couple of big innings bailed us out. Baez almost bailed us again last night...Kershaw thought it was gone.

Very frustrating. Showed a graphic last night Rizzo had two long hitting droughts during the season, 1-22 and 1-25. He's about at that mark now, time to snap out. At least he hit one hard last night. Don't know that I've seen Russell hit one hard yet.

And I still don't trust Arietta, I think he got away with some pitches late in his outing against the Giants and lot's of lefties in the Dodgers lineup. If they show the patience they did last night Jake may walk quite a few.

Of course I'm a long suffering Cub and we tend to expect the worse. Hoping those days are over....Go Cubs.

It's just this team should be able to win games giving up 1-4 runs. But for some reason that ability doesn't translate to the playoffs.

They have won games giving up 1-4 runs, in fact all of their wins they have won in that manner except the first against San Fran. Even scored 5 in the one loss to the Giants.

The issue is it's usually been one big inning and pitchers have done more of the damage than they should have to.

And the guys we should expect to be contributing among the most are giving nothing.

Yeah, not worried. Kershaw was going to get his, but the Dodgers have to show they can by doing something other than having Kershaw on the hill and Jansen going two innings a game. At some point the Dodgers are going to have to go deeper and when they do, like Game 1, they get exposed.

Cubs have about 5 different ways to win a game and can go with multiple lineup combinations. 7 game series, I still like our chances.

aye, I would be lying if I said I was not concerned as well. The bats are just shite right now, and have been for a while now. Even when we scored eight the other night, two of those were intentional walks. We just need the bats to wake the frick up. Now is not the time to mail it in.

If we lose to Rich Hill or get behind in this series at some point, that's when I will be worried.

Warmer weather....bats gonna heat up.

It was beautiful last night in Chicago.... perfect temp for baseball. What will cause our bats to beat up is some shite pitching from the dodges, which is doubtful. This is sucky beyond belief

That shitty first strike to Kris Bryant in the B9 last night had me so red hot fired up. That ruined his AB...he never says boo to an umpire and even he turned around to let that back of dicks know he was out of his stupid fat mind.

Rizzo...I mean, come on Fat Baby. You need to do something, bro.
