NIL pay for play needs to be binding contract to hold these pompous egos in check

You want how much? Here is where you sign on the dotted line. You want to get what you want, the coach team and school want to protect their interest.
And unless you are projected to be a high round draft pick, you are not allowed to opt out of a bowl game.
Any questions son? Sign your contract agreement on this line.
And the NCAA needs to get this done before college football is gone as we know it.it may be too late.

I'm sure some of these NIL contracts have clauses preventing players from earning in perpetuity regardless of school affiliation, which effectivley work the same as a buyout.
If a booster decides to give a player 10 million dollars to commit to the school of his choosing, why should the player be punished for that booster being a moron?

So if I'm one of these athletes, what if I just say shove it up your arse and I go to a program that doesn't impose all of this on me?
There's always going to be teams that just want to get the kid and will pay the price to do so.

I understand. I’m being facetious with my comments. But that is what needs to be legalized to protect both parties. You can’t allow a kid to extort you for more money, and that is what tampering is causing to get there way.

Who's being extorted? The kid gets his money, and once the bowl game invite is accepted the program gets their check. They get paid the same amount whether players opt out or not.

If you transfer, sit out a year.

Can they use any mock draft or just the one you like the most?
Coaches opt out of the bowl games and you arent trying to fix that. They definitely signed on the dotted line.

Should Denbrock have to sit out a year?
Dude gets a new job by choice every 2 or 3 years.

What is your opinion on Brian Kelly, who left Notre Dame a week before they were possibly going to be named a playoff team?

I still dont get the hard on some people have for bowl games to be like they were in the 90s. It's an exhibition if you aren't in the playoff it just took until a few years ago players finally realized it.

Coaches opt out of the bowl games
Realistically, there no way for NIL to prevent player opt-outs. NIL contracts can stipulate that a player has to do some advertisements or promotional appearances, but thats about it. Raising Cane's can't stipulate that Jayden Daniels had to play in LSU's bowl game as part of his NIL deal
Best the NCAA can do at this point is change it to where the transfer portal doesn't open up until after the national championship game.

I'm sure some of it is the kids, but it's mostly shitty people giving them bad advice and/or leaching off of their talents.

It’s pompous to sit out a meaningless exhibition game?
Interesting.
Interesting.

Capitalism <> anarchy.
The NCAA could have had the former if they gave a crap about solving the pay-for-play problem a few years ago.
NIL (which is really NIL in name only) was the NCAA throwing up their hands and saying “do whatever you want”.

Yes coach. Why would I sign your NIL collective contract when Bumfrick Toyota down the street agreed to pay me twice your offer? Without the contract. Should I take my 5 stars and go elsewhere?

Sure I’ll sign. Ouch, I just hurt myself on that last play. Sorry.
