I think Winnipeg's coach melted down after a 7-4 home loss to Montreal

The Caps last two games against the Pens were decided by scores of 5-2 and 7-1, both in Washington's favor, yet Milbury was in the postgame talking about the Caps learned they need their best game to beat the Pens. Come on, man. A little credit.

Man, I feel bad for Niklas Backstrom. He pots his 500th assist last weekend on the road, and he comes home to have the team honor him for being the first player in franchise history to reach that milestone. They play a video in his honor, they honor his career, and he responds by scoring 4 points on the night, including 3 assists.

And Ovi scores his 1000th point one minute into the game, scores a power play goal later (both assisted by Backstrom), and takes all of the headlines and the first star of the game. Backstrom can't even get the attention on a night literally designed to honor him.

Habs are going again. I noticed that Danault and Lehkonen now are double digit goal scorers. Montoya played well enough to win last night.

Caps will have beaten three of the top four only excluding themselves over the past week and a half after tomorrow night . Oh and throw in beating #7,#12, and #16 for good measure

Rough night at the office for Price. Blues have a late night game at Kings. Really need to put a winning streak together.

Blues will not make the playoffs this year.

The bottom is about ready to fall out of this boat from people I know that travel with the team everyday. huge disconnect between the coaching staff and front office and some players are thinking about landing spots after the trade deadline.

Nah. From what i hear they are looking to dump some overvalued salaries onto playoff teams that get desperate at the deadline. Boumeester/Stastny/steen type of movement. I dont think we could trade Jake Allen for a bag of pucks right now with that contract. Im being serious. Worst contract on the team.

Blues are done this season. Hopefully it spells the end of Armstrong as well.

What happened to the rumors about Shattenkirk? Everybody's been talking about him being on the block forever, and the last few weeks it's just been silence.

This season has been so frustrating.

this should of been doen last season, they allowed turds like backes to leave for free.

team was built poorly by armstrong, and now they are screwd.

Would love to see them Deal Petro for a #1 centerwith some speed. Or part of a package to bring in center and young dman.

So tired of the softies on the backline, especially the new captain, he can't clear Valeri Bure from the front of the net.

Team either needs to pull a Cubs/Astros and tank purposely, or deal players for younger talent, NHL ready.

And the Goaltending situation is a mess, and it's ALL on Army. THis is 100% his team.

You have guys on this team making 4mil or more, who show up half the season if that. Berglund and his houdini, yearly act grew tiresome 3 years ago, when he was part of the boy band(backes,Oshie, berglund,Perron)
