Adam Schefter - Story on possible collusion between Cowboys and Broncos:
NFLPA is reviewing information to determine whether there was collusion between the Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys on the unsettled contractual situations of franchise WRS Demaryius Thomas and Dez Bryant, per an NFLPA official. The NFLPA believes the Broncos and Cowboys had contact about each players’ contract when the collective bargaining agreement prohibits such contact. The NFLPA now is trying to determine if collusion did occur and when to possibly file a claim. The deadline for the WRs to sign long-term deals is Wednesday of next week.

If proven to be true, you'd have to imagine the NFL comes down on both teams, as they both have a history of salary cap cheating.

I'm confused.

Financial terms of contracts are known by all.

What's the crime

2 teams can't get together to cap the market rate.

Contraction of both teams.

Or forced to replace the Raiders in Oakland when they move again.

Basically the two teams can't get together and say "okay, we're only going to offer X player 13 mil per year, once he signs this contract you can use it for the market rate for a player of his caliber to sign Y player to a similar deal."
