90s seemed like the golden era of QBs (Favre, Young, Elway, Marino, etc.)

What franchise would probably win a Super Bowl or 2 if they had a good QB?

Kansas City had two 13 win seasons in the 90’s…

Steve Bono was their starting QB

Well Marino never won, Elway didn't win until Davis....

But to answer the questions possibly Saints, Chargers, KC

People are going to say they had Montana, but Montana was past his prime.

But more importantly, they were playing Schottyball back then. That offense would make Marino look terrible.

Pittsburgh Steelers.

Great defense, especially LBs and DBs. Really good OL and running game.

Neil O’Donnell and Kordell Stewart at QB.

Tampa Bay. That Bucs D was nasty after they got Sapp, Brooks, Lynch and Barber in the fold.

Don't forget Herman Moore and Brett Perriman, two very underrated receivers

While Scott Mitchell wasn’t what Detroit hoped he would be, that OL and defense was what really held them back. Herman Moore and Brett Perriman put up some pretty darn good numbers in the passing game.

Good choice

Herman Moore and Lomas Lomas Brown too. I agree they could of used a QB but Barry wasn't by himself on that team.

'99 team "lost" to the Rams 11-6 in the NFC title game. They got robbed on the Bert Emanuel catch

Younger people don't realize just how nasty that group of linebackers was. They were just on an organization that was traditionally a joke.

That one still stings. I think we had we Shaun King that year. Definitely was a catch. They changed the rules after that.

Talk about refs deciding a big game. That was it.

I'd argue that the mid-late 00s was more likely the Golden era of modern QBs.

In their prime alone were: Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, and the tail end of Favre, who probably had two of his best seasons ever in 2007 and 2009.

That doesn't even include guys like Eli and Rivers, who are both probably going to the hall of fame.

91 eagles had the one of the best D ever. They had 4 different QBs and still finished 10-6.
