Foles could take a lesson from Peyton on this one. Throw a pick, run straight off the field.

If that was Drew Brees Saints fans would bitch and moan about how illegal the hit was

Not applicable. All of his picks get returned for TD.

Not really. But I'd want his teammates to come to him like the Eagles did for Foles.

The NFL can say that the hit was legal, but the refs are going to continue to throw flags for that, and we all know it.

The bottom line is that ANY cheap shot on a QB, especially a top 10 qb, is going to be flagged whether its legal or not. The NFL knows it, the refs know it, and the defenders need to know it too.

after an int or fumble, the QB is no longer a QB but a defender that is attempting to tackle the ball carrier.

Eh. If he is near the ball or actively getting involved in the play, yes.

Watch Peyton or Aaron Rodgers next time they throw an interception early in a game, they'll actually run to the sidelines. The chance of them getting hurt far outweighs the potential of them stopping the ball carrier. Brady is bi-polar with this, as sometimes he'll run to the sideline, other times he'll take on like 5 blockers.

NFL rules may say it's a legal hit but no doubt that defender knew he was fixing to break it off on that QB arse!! The RB was already going down and no way was Foles going to make any tackle.

QB gets demolished on a play he's trying to make a tackle - total outrage

Punter gets demolished on a play he's trying to make a tackle - should have paid more attention

Exactly. The Seahawks are somehow above all these pesky rules that most other NFL teams have to follow.
