Half a billion bucks? Why can't they just build their own stadium with that cash? Oh wait, I know...

Because the cheapest of the stadium proposals is the Raiders in Oakland for ~$1billion.

Why do you post a link to Forbes that doesn't have an article related to your topic on the page that appears? I have noticed this about all of the links to Forbes recently, but I finally got frustrated enough to post about the matter. You should copy and paste some of the relevant info, or mention the author so that a search of the Forbes site could be done efficiently.

I don't see how a stadium can't be built for $300 Million. It's not like they're actually using highly skilled grunt labor to build these things, cut the union bullshite jobs out of it and we could get something done for a reasonable amount.

Those illegal immigrant workers sure can't be that expensive to pay off the oversight agencies to use.
