Is it just me or have these games been insufferable to watch? Constant miscues, penalties, poor execution, etc. CFB has been much more enjoyable.

Blame the CBA removing a lot of preseason work.

The level of play in CFB is always way worse.

Football in general this year has been pretty depressing sans leonard fournette.

No contact/restricted practice schedules and this is what you get.

The product in general has become watered down the last few years.

Level of pay is a bit down in the early season in both college and pro's if you ask me. I see very few teams that are executing at a high level.

The Pats are the only elite team in the AFC.

Brady wins his third MVP, fourth Super Bowl MVP, and fifth Super Bowl title

The difference between the best NFL team and the worst is coaching.

The difference between the best NCAA team and the worst is everything.

There is no excuse for professional athletes to have 14 penalties in a game (Buffalo). The 49'ers look like a team that imploded when Harbough rumors began and then when he left and they appear at the point where they need to clean house to repair that mess. The Saints... sad to say it's time to rebuild. The Eagles? College gimmicks don't work in the NFL.

And people want to shorten the preseason even more, thinking that will improve the product somehow.

An important distinction should be made. By no means am I asserting that the talent levels in CFB are better than NFL. That is absurd. But given that it is professional football, the NFL has not been up to par. It's been very sloppy. See 49ers game last week, Saints game this week, and Dallas game this week

It's really hard to tell at this point who is good in the NFL at this point, except for NE. A lot of inconsistent teams that still have a lot to figure out. The Rams beat the Seahawks, a super bowl team, last week but got beat down by the Redskins today. Mariota and the Titans looked phenomenal last week against the Bucs but lost to the Browns.

NFL level of play is waaaay better. Talent=better play.

That's like saying High School level of play is better than college.lmao. People trying to say 18-22yr old kids level of play is better than the NFL level of play. I've seen it all.
