Trade is now agreed to, per sources:

Dolphins get Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey.

Rams get 2023 third-round pick (No. 77) and TE Hunter Long.

Trade will be processed Wednesday, when league year begins.

Sources: Washington’s franchise player Daron Payne became the highest-paid DT in NFL history not named Aaron Donald, reaching agreement today on a four-year, $90 million deal that includes $60 million guaranteed.

I'll post more news as it comes out

quote:

The NFL's negotiating window for free agents opens this coming Monday at noon ET, with the free agency period officially beginning at the start of the new league on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET. The record salary cap of $224.8 million per club is good news for those hitting the open market.

The #Rams would "Love to trade" QB Matthew Stafford, according to @mlombardiNFL on the @PatMcAfeeShow

“Matthew Stafford is fully available.”

quote:

Update: The #Packers are looking for a 1st round pick for QB Aaron Rodgers, per @mlombardiNFL on the @PatMcAfeeShow

He added that they also want another pick in addition to the 1st if he plays again next season.

There’s a real possibility that the Vikings and Adam Thielen will part ways in the coming days, allowing the two-time Pro-Bowl WR to become a free agent, per sources. The two sides will talk in coming days, but his time in Minnesota could be coming to an end.

quote:

Ian Rapoport

Long-time great #Bucs LB Lavonte David, coming off one of his most productive seasons, is expected to test the free agent market, source said. A return to Tampa Bay has not been ruled out, but given their cap situation, it will be challenging.

quote:

#Bills are "expected to lose" Safety Jordan Poyer and LB Tremaine Edmunds in free-agency according to @AdamSchefter

quote:

Report: The #Vikings have received trade offer for RB Dalvin Cook, per @DWolfsonKSTP

Dalvin Cook isn't interested in taking a pay-cut, according to Wolfson.

I’m interested to see what the Bengals do at RB. Will the re-sign Perine and use him as the feature back?

Nothing says success like a 46-year-old QB.

At least they got one. A lot more than you can say for other clubs that have swung for the fences and without the injury they could have still had upside. But with reports that Stafford can barely throw not sure what he's worth at this point.

Would have made the perfect WR with Brady under center but I am guessing he ends up with the Chiefs

Those 3 third rounders are the diversity bag they filled when former "minority" staff members Saleh, McDaniel, DeMeco and a couple of now GMs Mayhew and Carthon got jobs. John Lynch is a comp pick machine.

Thielen isn't a surprise but was also thinking he may retire Given his connections to MN and the Vikings. Interesting to see where he goes. He was a good complimentary player to JJ too.

Wonder where DE Frank Clark will end up and how much he will get paid.

29 years old, 2X SB Champion, and he is 3rd in NFL history in post season sacks.

Titans are starting over, perhaps?

The #Titans already released LT Taylor Lewan, WR Robert Woods, LB Zach Cunningham, Kicker Randy Bullock, Center Ben Jones and will be cutting Bud Dupree in the coming days.

New GM Ran Carthon is changing the team. Will Ryan Tannehill be next?

The Dolphins picking up Tua Tagovailoa’s fifth-year option and guaranteeing his $23.4 million salary for 2024 is the ultimate sign that they don’t have any plans to sign any high-priced quarterbacks this off-season. Tua is their man.

There's been talk here in Atlanta the last couple of days that Derrick Henry literally told the Falcons during the combine that he wants to play for the Falcons and be reunited w/Arthur Smith.
