According to John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal. Poor NHL.

Sources: Natl overnights for NFL Draft was 4.84 on ESPN; 1.00 on NFL Net. NYR-OTT on NBCSN had a 0.6 overnight; Devils-Panthers had a 0.8.

Well, it featured two Game 7s featuring teams from the NY metropolitan area. I thought the NHL would have gotten better ratings just based on that fact. I mean the NFL Draft had almost 10 times as many viewers as the Rangers/Senators game. I didn't think the disparity would be that ridiculous.

One was on ESPN the other was on a brand new channel that most casual sports fans probable haven't even heard of.
