Polian is putting in work on NFL Live right now. They must've scared the shite out of him.
Just said if you took a poll of random Americans about who in the country has the most integrity Robert Mueller's name would be on every ballot. That makes absolutely no sense.
ETA: Also said it could be stuck in someone's file cabinet and they forgot.

Is someone implying that ESPN has a vested interest in the financial success of the NFL and they might attempt to sway public opinion towards what is best for them?

Speaking for myself, it's not that I don't care. I just don't care enough.

I like football. Am I willing to deprive myself of something I like to make some kind of stand that no one else will care about? No. And most people here aren't either.

Unscrupulous individuals have had a hand in literally everything we like to enjoy on a daily basis. I'd lead a pretty boring life if I took a stand on all of them.

NFL Network was just talking about how above reproach Rooney and Mara are who are overseeing this. Michael Silver then said something about how they wouldn't want to bring in "independent" investigators because they would probably find things out that they don't want the public to know.

Polian reminds me of Frankie Pentangelli from The Godfather. Who do you think got to him?

oh, but I thought the NFL only relies on credible establishments such as law enforcement

quote:

In 2009, the NFL wrote up a job description, obtained by CBS News, that defined for teams the responsibilities of the team security director. The description says the director is required to conduct: "personal visits to local casinos, night clubs, etc. requesting the cooperation of the establishments' management in the event a player or team employee is perceived as a potential problem."
