Sounds like you have some residual butthurt.

no butthurt, just grim realities.

do you think the lions wouldve made the wildcard in 11 if cutler and forte hadnt missed the second half of that season?

The only two teams I really think are elite are Denver and NOLA. Outside of Brees and Rodgers, I do not think anyone else can go into Seattle and win.

No, the "reality" is the Lions made the playoffs two years ago...the Bears didn't. The "reality" is the Bears got swept this season and are two games back. That's the "reality". You can tell yourself whatever you want.

Of course...you could pretend that the Lions didn't suffer a significant injury that season too (well before the Bears did)...you could also compare their record before and after that injury if you want to play the excuses game.

6 - Cardinals (slight edge over Panthers)

I hope you're right dude.

but...

I don't see it happening. Our defense is going to have to play out of it's mind and get healthy. We're going to have to start consistently utilizing Fitz (because we haven't been), Palmer is going to have to cut down his interceptions, and our line is going to have to hold up.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see 3 teams from our division making the playoffs.

bears dropped 5 of their last 6 and missed the playoffs by two games. it was an epic collapse. the lions clearly benefited.

and the "reality" is the Lions and Bears arent separated by much, and it shouldn't surprise you that someone would pick the Bears to win the division and not the lions.
