That's pretty awesome. It sounds like people finally started caring. I mean, there have always been die hard cajuns fans, but it sounds like the % of those apathetic towards the program has decreased significantly.

It's not so much for expansion as updating/ modernizing the stadium by adding suites/ new pressbox, bathrooms, concessions etc. While they're doing that, it wouldn't be hard/ expensive to bump up the capacity at the same time.
Basically by filling in 1 of the grass end zones, the capacity is ~40k. Doing both would put it right at 50

By good hire he means not an old guy who's looking to settle which was the old regime's preferred method. Another up and coming coach. It would be easier to convince another coach to come aboard after Hud because he's the first guy to really come in and win immediately.

I feel like they should wait for that area to be habitually used by fans, if it isn't already. Seems like it would be a good metric.

But once again, if you have the money to burn, it doesn't really matter.

There are always people sitting on the hill rather some upper deck spots. I'd actually prefer they just bowl one endzone for now because I like the hill.

This. If/when Hud leaves, we will have a much better group of coaching candidates than we had when we fired Bustle.

Yea, and I'm assuming then the price would get jacked up for that area. Or maybe not, I have no clue about cajun ticket cost. Has that stayed constant, and do you know of any changes to ticket prices if the success continues?

I don't remember the last time I've bought a ticket. I've been a student for a while. Graduated in May but I'm still taking classes so I get into games for free.

They've done new stuff like make it mandatory to buy season tickets and join RCAF if you want a tailgating spot and shite like that. You can't get a good parking pass without joining RCAF either.

Exactly, that's why big programs never make bad hires.

Oh wait.
