Do they talk about how the head coach oversigns players and then cuts them right after school starts so they can't transfer?

Or how he brings in more than the allotted 8 out of state players and if they don't make the cut he "hides" the remaining until the next year?

I haven't seen it yet, but every JUCO can be considered "last chance U"

If youre playing juco ball, you either got in trouble, have really poor grades, or weren't recruited out of HS. That's pretty much it--last chance

Or you don't want to wait 3 years to be drafted i.e. Bryce Harper

Gotcha. Yeah I think of JUCO guys as grade casualties with a lot of talent typically. Not necessarily trouble makers. Trouble makers typically go to FCS schools after leaving big programs it seems.

That's pretty much true. I know a lot of Jucos won't put up with behavior issues when recruiting, just like NCAA. But I know there are schools that take guys in with criminal backgrounds and use the "second chance" or "last chance" reasoning

And I'm speaking about football, can't really speak for the other sports

but not every JUCO is located in Scooba, MS. A town with 700 people, zero red lights, and 2 convenience stores at the 4 way stop sign intersection. It's 80 miles round trip to a town big enough to have a Wal-Mart.

Like I said, I haven't taken a look at it yet. I didn't realize it was that remote a location. Many Jucos are in the middle of nowhere, but I'd imagine that's gotta be the most rural...plus with all the success they've had on top of that, could be worth a watch

Who/what are you talking about? What 8 out of state players rule? Which sport?

i've never heard such salt on this board about a JUCO team

At first I thought it was a thinly veiled shot at Bama. After the second part, he lost me

i hope there is something personal b/c it would be pretty sad to be that emotionally invested in a JUCO rivalry
