Played peninsula last year and loved it... Planned on playing Kiva this year but they're currently closed for renovations to the course...

Was trying to decide between Craft Farms, GSGC, or maybe even driving to Lost Key (if it's not too far out of the way)...

Any suggestions would be appreciated, TIA

Craft Farms is good
Lost Ball (Key) is good if in good shape.

KD & Peninsula are the best though.

Rock Creek is fun if you play on the way in.

I really like peninsula, just wanna play a new course every year... I'm guessing lost key is roughly 30 minutes from gulf shores?? The pictures look phenomenal on the website...

What about gulf shores golf club? I heard good things about that one considering its a public course

Fun course. Not a "beach" course, but it is one of my favorites. Play it every year and have never seen it in bad shape.

That's the exact feeling I got... Great course, but not 'scenic' like some of these other resort type courses

Never played it but have heard it was fun. That is right before Peninsula right?

We usually stay within a few miles of Florabama and Lost Key seems closer than KD & Peninsula to me.

We stay at the legacy, which is pretty close to the middle of gulf shores... I have been browsing different courses and I think I'm going to play lost key... Google says it's only a 25 min ride from my condo so I think I'll just suck it up and make the ride..

Peninsula was about 10-15 minutes away

I must stay in Orange Beach...I call it all GS

Lost Key was nice the last time I played it...but they don't call it lost ball for nothing. Its fairway maybe 5 yrds of rough and then waste area...watch out for snakes

Played GSGC yesterday - greens and fairways are in good shape but it is not a Kiva or Penninsula - but still a great course - the greens were very receptive

I usually play bogey golf... My driver is killing me, I can't stop missing right.. I've tried different weight shifts, different grips, etc, but miss the fairway to the right 50% of the time

My irons are pretty good though
