And they never used the run game because Mike Riley is retarded and would rather pass 70% of the time.

This is what I fears the most with the hire that MR would be all pass and no run.

Both teams are atrocious on offense.

It looks like, at least, Nebraska has a semblance of a run game with Terrell Newby, if they choose to run him. In contrast, Wisconsin's run game, without Corey Clement, is stagnant against any team with a pulse. I think this may be the year Wisconsin breaks its streak of 1,000 yard rushers.

And because I don't want to start a new topic for this, Wisconsin just announced its new deal with Under Armour beginning in 2016.

No more Adidas!

Agree. This game will be a cripple fight. sad thing is that both have a decent chance of winning the B1G West still.

The crappy O line play is really at the heart of the issues. I think Deal is a serviceable back, but the O line just flat out needs to be better.

All you guys have to do is pass and you will win. The pass defense for the Huskers is putrid. The run D is solid though.

I like Wisconsin to win the game outright.

Fwiw, Phil Steele is predicting: Wisconsin 21, Nebraska 17

Injuries have really killed them. Clement out, O line has had injuries, tight ends have had injuries, fat kicker is missing kicks, Stave is jekyll and hyde. In that Iowa game it actually looked like both teams were trying to lose.

all on coaching. If they ran it as much as they passed that game would have been over by the 3rd quarter. But no, they had to fricking pass on every fricking drive,

I have one definitive prediction for this game -- both teams will get great play from the fullback position!

Derek Watt and Andy Janovich!!

Both teams are coming off tough losses. All of Nebraska's losses have been extremely close games. Illinois had a good strategy last week relative to the wind affecting the passing game, and came back to get a 1-point win. Wisconsin had a turnover debacle vs. Iowa. As for who wins this game -- I don't know -- it's a toss up for me.
