Anyone got a clue about this game? The dude at my office pick em pool is such a clown with the games he selects. I didn't even know these two were still playing football. Anyone who can provide any thoughts on this game would be greatly appreciated!

I predict it will be a painful game to watch.

Sounds like a perfect game to put in the mix.

That said, I don't know what to do with this one either. NB +1.5 at home is tough.

I wouldn't touch this game with a 10 foot pole. Nebraska looks crappy, and Wisconsin was positively shite-tastic on offense last week. Lots of injuries to deal with. Stave was God awful after being pretty good to that point.

Yeah I have no clue. I believe I took Wisconsin, but because of that I assume Nebraska will take it.

My dad is a Nebraska fan, so I he calls me once or twice a week mainly to bitch about them. I have zero faith in ever picking them when they pop up in Pick 'em because of him.

Nebraska will lose, and mike riley is a dead man walking.

they fired pelini for going 9-4 every year.

this stinker-coach is going to have 4 losses and half the season is yet to play out.

Firing Bo made some sense. Hiring Riley made zero sense.

TigerHuskers says Nebraska is on the verge of being a dominant program once again, so I'm taking Wisconsin.

Wisconsin's offense is completely fricked with the injuries they have to deal with. Having to rely on Joel Stave's arm, through conference play, is a Wisconsin's fan's biggest nightmare. Watching Joel Stave hand the game to Iowa last week with his four turnovers, and only losing by four points, was about as frustrated as I've been as a Wisconsin football fan.

It's too bad the offense is so far back because the defense is terrific. Joe Schobert has been an animal. Against Iowa, he totaled eight tackles, 3.5 TFL, three sacks, five QB hurries, two FF, and one fumble recovery. For the season, he leads the nation in TFL, sacks, and tied for the lead in forced fumbles.

ETA: that being said, I have no idea what to expect from this game other than it'll be painful to watch for an outsider.

How Wisconsin only lost by four last week with Stave single-handedly giving away the game was the most frustrating I've seen in awhile from a Wisconsin offense.

It was so bad, I just had to laugh last week, otherwise I would have cried or puked.

I have very low expectations for the rest of this year. I just want it to be respectable so our top recruits stick. And the Cubs game starts at 4:30, so I'll be all over that.

Nebraska fired Frank Solich after a 10 win season, two years removed from the national championship game.

Nebraska has lost 53 games since then.

Wisconsin in a blowout. The Huskers are lost and Mike Riely is Bill Callahan 2.0.

Have fun when Harbaugh bolts in 3-4 years for the NFL.

This is the worst husker team I've ever seen in my life. This is worse than Billy C.

I feel his pain. It's not even fun anymore to watch this team play.

So you didn't see Wisconsin/Iowa last weekend. Consider yourself lucky.

I did. But the Huskers have awful coaching and clock management. They were passing in the rain and wind when they were averaging 6 yards per carry.

So you at least had the run game going. We almost handed the ball off on the one one time. It was awesome.

And you say awful clock management? That made me nostalgic for Bert. He used to own shitty clock management.
