The best high school kid in Mizzou is going to be a buckeye.

It's nice to see what stieber has done thru high school and college. He grew up 5 miles from me and he has made our local area proud. I think they had 4 state champions for Monroeville his senior year. And Monroeville was apart of the smallest division in ohio divisions.

The monroeville 4 logan and hunter steiber cam tessari and probaly the most talented Ohio wrestler ever chris Phillps. Tessari and Phillps are doing nothing now guess they are being bums.

Mizzou will never win a ncaa title because they don't have more than one person who can score bonus points

Schools in Baldwin county are starting programs. So it will be spreading in Alabama even more than it has.

In that case, is wrestling mostly for trash?

I assumed it would be in the nicer schools before the ones in bumfrick.

In Louisiana, private schools dominate in wrestling

I think Walsh is baiting Deringer until the 3rd period. He can give up a lot of points and still pin him which he is notorious for.

Well I was wrong.

Yeah deringer is a beast. Rough way for 174 to end. Not sure how I feel about the replays.

They are pretty useless unless you have a separate set of officials reviewing them.

I don't trust the two mat officials to review their own calls and say "Oh yeah we were wrong".

The challenges still end in the same result 99% of the time.

174 lbs was the 1%.

College wrestling should be like pro wrestling. I mean college football and basketball is like pro football and basketball as is golf and tennis.

There's no professional future in amateur style wrestling. No one goes pro in freestyle or Greco-Roman.

College wrestling is NOT Freestyle and Greco (which is the Olympic style). Our high schools and colleges wrestle Folkstyle - the pussification of wrestling by Americans. No throws, no hard-core action.

The whole world (who are a lot better than us) wrestles Freestyle and Greco and it is jaw-dropping fun. My kid wrestles both in college and has been overseas to wrestle freestyle and greco - it is brutal - but fun to watch.

What are you talking about? All time we are second in medals in wrestling. And it is the third most medals for the U.S. In all summer sports. I think we are doing just fine.

It's awesome. A great year for OSU sports (wish Bball team would have won). Two team NCs already.
