Big weekend of lacrosse on the ESPN family of networks.

All of the women's games & the D2/D3 men's games will be available on ESPN3.

The D1 semifinals are tomorrow on ESPN2 along with the championship on Monday.

PPL Park in Philly has draw a pretty solid crowd so far & is expected to have a good draw all weekend long.

Duke WLAX vs UNC WLAX on now:

It's a shame the Buckeyes blew it vs Denver. I'd be a lot more excited.

Their men might do that, again. I'm sure Quint & Carc will beat that dead horse all weekend.

But the women are favored to win it all & have their top player with the Tewaaraton Award again this year. To say they've built a dynasty is an understatement:

11 National Championships

quote:

Women's lacrosse has a total of 11 NCAA national championships. The first NCAA title was won in 1986 and a title in 1992 was followed by seven consecutive titles from 1995-2001. Maryland returned the title to College Park in 2010 with a 13-11 win over Northwestern. The Terps picked up their 11th title in 2014 with a 15-12 win over Syracuse

For those that don't know-the Tewaaraton is the lacrosse version of the Heisman.

This is pretty ridiculous. Was that 5 or 6 goals by Sergio in the 4th?

I hope Hopkins destroys Maryland.

Delaney is getting cocky like Slive and Kramer.

Then I hope DU beats Hopkins so the B1G doesn't get another Natty.
