The measure is expected to pass, according to sources.

Not a fan.

Writing has been on the wall about this for awhile now, though.

I knew this dumb shite was going to happen. That's why they moved the NBA logo from the left shoulder to the back above the name.

They have been prepping for this for about 4 years now, between moving the NBA logo to the back of the jersey, and the ads on the All-Star jerseys. Not the end of the world. Hopefully it's just a small ad on the front and not something front and center. I think we all know eventually though, it will end up looking like a soccer jersey several years down the road.

Should be similar to the Kia logo on the Allstar jerseys. Not really a big deal to me.

Always thought it was weird that Adidas couldn't put their logo on the jerseys. It looks like Nike can when they take over in 2017.

I can't believe they haven't already opened up this revenue stream.

I'm indifferent to this, not sure why so many have such strong opinions on it.

They'll still play basketball with the little patch on, the game will look the same.

I think the argument is it won't stay a small patch for long. I can understand how some of the fans will get aggravated.

Why don't we just sell the naming rights to the team as well.

Disappointed but not surprised. Just keep it to a minimum, ok guys? Let's not go full European soccer club mode.

Talked about this in my marketing class a few years ago. Sliver has made it obvious this was a goal for awhile. They will sell it by saying there will be less commercial breaks but I doubt it last long.

People will still watch
