If he's traded it pretty much kills any chance that the Suns make the playoffs.

I disagree pending on what they get back. They still have a good core group of guys there, plus Holiday being out 3 more weeks helps them.

Pels are on the market for a back up PG and tyreke's playing really well.

We need another depth piece besides that though.

I'm going to be pissed if the Timberwolves get rid of Kevin Martin or Thaddeus Young. That will destroy my fantasy team

I'm guessing they won't get much back as far as on the court talent. OKC will pass them for sure.

On the Kevin Martin front, I'm told from the T-Wolves side that there's "no way" he's going to be bought out. Flip Saunders loves him

Everyone other than Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh & Hassan Whiteside available from the Heat, a source said. The times have changed for Whiteside

OKC probably will, but will LAC stay up?

Woj:

quote:

For Dragic, the Suns are pursuing packages that include a young player with significant potential and a first-round draft pick or two first-round picks, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

The Suns signed Goran's brother, Zoran, to a two-year contract last summer, largely as a way to make the Suns star more comfortable with re-signing with the organization. With Goran wanting out, the Suns are trying to attach Zoran to trade packages with him, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

quote:

he Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings have been initially aggressive in talks to obtain Dragic, who will be a free agent in July. Suns general manager Ryan McDonough seems determined to find a team willing to gamble on the ability to offer Dragic the most years and guaranteed money in July free agency, league sources said.

This last quote (below) is why I don't get the Houston fit and don't get why he doesn't like the idea of going to Boston

quote:

For now, Dragic has decided he wants the ball in his hands, and the offense flowing through him, something that can’t always happen with Bledsoe sharing the backcourt with him.

Good luck with that

I feel like they can get the first round pick, but the "young player with significant potential" has to be a sticking point for some teams

Plus including his brother must make the whole thing that much more difficult.

Well the Suns have no leverage...

Either get what they can or watch him walk. Seems pretty cut and dry to me

Houston relies too much on Harden having the ball in his hands and has nobody who can create when Harden is on the bench.

They could really use a player like Dragic.

Beverley also has the ball a good bit of the time but he can't create worth a poo.

He would have the ball in his hands a lot.

That is why I don't get trying to include his brother. That has to make things much more difficult.

He's the reason why Dragic would be a tough sell in Houston.

Beverely and Dragic are repped by the same people.

If Dragic goes to Houston, Beverely loses luster with his next contract. Interestin dilema
