As Jalen said today, teams with losing records battling for playoff spots is pathetic.
Meh. Celtics are rebuilding. Lot of young players on the roster and an impressive young coach. I'm just excited for them to get some playoff experience.
Midway through the season they were 15-26. Since they have been 20-16.
Rockets have been 25-11 in that same span. Better, but for the 2nd best overall record in the West not much better than a borderline playoff team with a losing record.
Celtics are better than their record and could be a tough out if they make the playoffs.

Rockets played an awful second quarter, and they're only down 4. This team.

I said he's the best role player in the NBA. But people want to anoint him the next superstar. Not that type of player. It's fine. Still great value to his team.
They used to say Harden was a role player too

Let's remember that East schedule are much easier. I'm not criticizing Boston. Stevens is doing a great job. I'm just saying that game is not even close to as important as these West matchups.

James Harden always had the ball in his hands in 4th quarters for the Thunder. He was not a glue guy. He was an elite playmaker.
The two players aren't comparable at all.

Shooting 55% fg and 40% from 3 come on bro don't be dishonest with yourself.

Spurs usually shoot 65% from the field and 50% from 3 in the first half this season so I agree with Jeff.

Yeah, the East has a couple really good/great teams, a bunch of average teams, and then a bunch of really bad teams. Pretty much battle for who can suck less outside of ATL and Cleveland.
And for the NBA as a whole, I agree these matchups are less significant, but the drama is still pretty intense. fricking Nets about to beat the Hawks and keep the race for 7 and 8 even closer.
edit: Hawks came back and seemingly have put the Nets away.

Kawhi was the Finals MVP of the Spurs last season. You can call that whatever you want.

They don't have to be comparable as players. There isn't only one type of superstar in the NBA.

Great play, Duncan blocks it.

By the way, Cavs clinch 2 seed in the East with Bulls loss tonight. This should be the last game LeBron and maybe Kyrie play before the playoffs. Let Love play and try and find some sort of rhythm before the playoffs.
