I don't think there is any question. Most 30 point games by far, most games with at least 40 points, scoring leader, 12th in assists but 1st in assists as a SG, 3rd in steals, his team has the 4th best record in the NBA, etc.
Steph Curry has been playing awesome, and Anthony Davis has been playing awesome, but I think Harden has been putting his team on his back and dominating.
I don't think the other candidates are dominating like Harden.
Of course I'm biased, but I think it's also the truth.

Harden has more points, rebounds, steals, TS%, and about the same assist numbers. He's better in almost every category.. both traditional and advanced stats.

That's true. Harden's assist numbers would be better if Ariza wasn't shooting like 6 kinds of arse the entire season until very recently.

one is not like the other. Love has been downright pathetic for most of this year. He's a defensive liability and is shooting piss poor.
Lets not forget that LeBron won MVPs with great teammates in Miami too.
I'm not saying Harden doesn't deserve it, which he does. I'm just saying its funny that LeBron has some great numbers as well and you don't even hear 1 person talking about him. That is rare.

As of right now, Harden is the MVP, in my opinion.
I do think AD should get some serious consideration if he can drag the Pelicans into the playoffs; but then again, I'm a complete fricking homer, so take that FWIW.
