It will rise to $110 million in 2017 and then rise a good chunk again in 2018 cause of the Ads on Jersey revenue. Every half decent player in the nba who hits free agency from now on will be making 10+ million per year and the 10+ year max guys will be making more than the top guys in any other sport

Just another reason to hate the NBA. It starts in October and ends in June with teams playing every damn night and I for one am sick of hearing about! Why don't they make the courts larger and move the goal up to make it more of challenge for athletes today?

Miggy is currently making 30 million a year, and Price/Kershaw are both up there as well.
Messi is making 36 million Euros per year, which after a google search, is 40.5 million dollars.

Also, as currently done, NBA players can only sign for 5 years. Baseball contracts have already been signed for 10 plus years. I have no idea how soccer contracts work.

33M per year in guaranteed salary is gonna be up there. Will be higher than any NFL salary by far.
Obviously baseball total salaries will be higher, but not on a per year basis.
Ronaldo and Messi will still remain at the top, but guys like Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will also be in the top 10 for the foreseeable future. Neymar's next contract is going to be absurd as well.

If be curious at an analysis of the major American sports in terms of top tier pay and average pay.
Basketball is nice because it is this sweet spot of longevity and stability.
football and baseball especially seem to have a ton of boom and bust and a lot of wage disparity.

While this may be true, the percentage of NBA players making 30+ million a year will be WAY higher than the percentage of MLB players.
As we've seen, it's not uncommon for players in the NBA to secure a max contract from a desperate team after showing one or two years of solid improvement.
Also, most teams seem to have at least one guy that is either at the max, or expected to get the max on his next deal.
Players like Westbrook, KD, Harden, AD, Steph, Draymond, Kawhi, etc. etc. etc. will all command this 30+ million/year deal when their time comes.
Sure maybe some baseball players will get there too, but it will be a much smaller percentage of the MLB.
shite, while Harrison Barnes may have lost a ton of money in this series, he is expected to get at or around a max deal this summer. Of course it's not the 10 year vet max, but to think a player like Harrison Barnes can secure a max deal just shows you how easy it is to get one of those versus getting a top deal in other sports.

I meant starting in 2017 when the cap is supposed to be around 108-110 million. Lebron will sign a contract that is at the lowest 5 years $205 million so annually that will be the highest now in terms of total amount baseball players will still be the highest cause their contracts have no limits

Good point. A baseball team's active roster is 25 players, whereas a basketball team's active roster is (I think) up to an average of 14 per team.
You can also argue a per game basis, NBA players are being paid more.
