Oh I'm not so sure about that.
If the grizz make the finals they'd be the weakest team to win the west in all my years watching the NBA.

Am I crazy or did they playoffs used to start with a 3 or 5 game series.........then in the semis and/or finals move to a 7 game series?

Grizzlies Spurs would be a damn good series.
Season series was split 2-2 and 2 of the games went into OT. One of the games that didn't go into OT was a 2 point victory for the Grizz. One blowout win for the Spurs.

The old arse Spurs may be worn out by the conference finals. The fact that they wouldn't have to play them until that late in the playoffs is huge for Memphis.
With Westbrook's injury ( and Griffin's) things are really shaping up for the Griz to make a Finals run
