Bulls projected cap breakdown (with Dwyane Wade). Chicago will have the $2.89m room mid-level. LINK

Bulls will go after a shooter. Zero doubt about that.

True. Both sides got a little better IMO.

Calderon is a nice PG for a young team.

Never discussion on Calderon to Brooklyn. Nets were motivated for Wade to stay in Miami, making it harder for Heat to match on Tyler Johnson - Woj

He's dropping bombs on ESPN/Stein now

Is it safe to say Woj is the best insider in all of sports?

Free agent Leandro Barbosa has agreed to a two-year, $8M deal with the Suns, league source tells @TheVertical.

Barbosa to the Suns is a little surprising. I thought he'd stay with Golden State

Back home where he belongs. And only 500k guaranteed in year two.

It's not a bad move. It doesn't put them over the top but they are better with Wade than without him.

The Bulls at best are 4 seed in the East...they have 2 really good players, a couple of good young players, a washed up point guard and a roster that counters what the coaching staff wants.

It really cripples Hoiberg.

Glen Davis has been working out in an effort to make a return to the NBA. He had ankle surgery in September and did not play last season. A year off for Davis could be worrisome, especially at age 30. He might get a camp invite in September.

maybe big baby to the warriors. make it happen Jerry

Thibs would make this roster work. With Hoiberg coaching, this could be an 8 seeded team.

I still don't know what Hoiball is. It supposedly isn't for ball stoppers. Bulls say they want to get younger, quicker, and more athletic...then they get Rondo and Wade, and draft a guy like Valentine. Seems to me they are just trying to stay relevant.

The rights to an unnamed player not currently in the NBA

Basically nothing. The Lakers absorbed Calderon since we have cap space and Chicago threw in 2 second round picks.

I like the move. Calderon is garbage on defense but he is still a really good shooter off the bench (41% from three last year). Good veteran presence which is sorely needed imo. Also, he's an expiring contract which is nice
