Who are the legit candidates and who you got?

Picked Durant at the beginning of the season. Buddy I bet with has The King.

LeBron
Durant
CP3
Kobe
?

I am an unabashed Lebron hater...

But if he doesn't win it's a travesty. It really shouldn't even be close.

Felt like this was said last year too and my man D-Rose pulled it out. LeBron is having his best season of his career IMO fwiw.

How much do voters take into account LJ having a top 5 player in the league on his team?

Obviously a lot or he would have won last year.

I really dislike this argument. Lebron was putting up almost equal numbers in Cleveland by himself. It's not like he has taken his game to another level due to Wade's presence.

I don't think CP3 deserves to be in the discussion of top 5 candidates.

How I rank my top 5:

1. Lebron
2. Love
3. Kobe
4. Howard
5. Aldridge

Lebron, and the gap between him and 2nd place is pretty wide this year. (At least it should be.)

I feel like the only reason he didn't win it last year was because of the backlash from "The Decision"

There is no race. It's Lebron.

Not even close. At about the half-way point last season, it was obvious Derrick Rose was going to win the award because his team had been better than expected. Couple that with backlash from the decision and a slight dip in LeBron's numbers, and I don't remember a point last year where LeBron was even the favorite to win it.

Thank you.

Kobe and Duranchala lead LeBron in scoring this year fwiw.

LJ not being able to close could be his downfall in terms of MVP. Watch!
