eBay or consignment company like probstein. They seem reasonable in price when I glanced.

You did get the better of GSW two rookies double jersey on card auto card, so not a total disaster Hoyt. When it comes to vet autos in any product, especially on card, you're just gonna have to pray a little.

Tim Hardaway/Damian Jones have 2x the amount of autos as Klay durant and green, and you'd much rather a jones rookie jersey auto than draymond for sure.

That's the one area we could have done slightly better in. Vets vs legends. But the fact we got Ingram maker, the gorgeous Beasley patch, and Ulis patch autos /25 makes up for that.

How nice/centered does the Ingram look? Worth me sending it off to get graded?

Surface and edges look great. Centering is pretty good, not perfect. Better than prob 85-90% of cards I look at. Likely a 9.5, maybe a 9 at worst. The corners are a little iffy. Nothing terrible probably above average for thick on card stock and the back corners look great at least. Happens a lot I've noticed on the thicker card stock on-card autos. NT especially has edges and corners beat to hell.

I'd have to research on ebay how many had gotten graded, and if a 9.5 could increase value a lot. I simply don't see as many graded thick cards as the thinner ones.

Keep an eye on this auction. It's in better shape than this and not a sticker auto. The auto is flawless btw. Easy 10.

10 on the auto sure.. but no way the card grades a BGS 10. Zero chance.
Gorgeous card though, congrats to the owner.

Edit: I think you were talking about another card, my bad

I'll post a better picture of it on my lunch break. It's not a 10, but it's a feasible 9.5, which would be a really high number for gold standard.

Sorry, forgot to add that it is definitely not the same card.

Link to a ton of different pictures jackwoods4...

It's in really good shape for a thick on card. Tough decision in all honesty. There's a reason people don't grade NT/GS/BG/FL/Immy that much compared to the thin cards.

If you manage a 9.5 with the thick brands, it's much better for value than a 9.5 on a traditional card stock.

Bunch o pictures

It makes no sense to grade that Malik Beasley, correct?

An aside: it makes no sense to break the "regular" versions of topps or bowman, correct? is the entire industry going to breaking these top end (Gold Standard, Bowman Chrome or Platinum) hobby/blaster boxes?

Not currently no, but keep it safe and if he ever blows up than it's possible you'd want to. It's an amazing patch for Gold Standard

Thanks for the pictures

Have you ever thought about trying to track down some old cases/boxes for breaks? Like maybe tracking down some 2010/11 or 2012/13 Gold Standard boxes? Might be fun to add those in. Could potentially level the playing field. Plus it would be epic to hit some Draymond/AD/Boogie/PG autos/patches/etc.

When I went to blowoutcards they had older boxes like 70% off like $900 cases for $250 it'd take some research to find out what's left on the checklist or who is good but it was tempting seeing $110 hobby boxes at $40 and so on

I've thought about it. I'm sending out a survey tomorrow or Thursday night, and that's going to be one of my questions. Chasing rookie cards from previous years.

If we end up doing a couple of boxes of that stuff, prepare thyself for some laughter at how ridiculous the hits are.

Yeah, I feel like it'd be really fun. You never know. There could be a couple sweet AD or Boogie cards still out there, and then we'll all laugh when there's a beautiful patch/on card auto of Xavier Henry.

Hey Shameless, I've been lurking on these posts and may jump in soon, but have a question. Yesterday I picked up a box of 2017 Topps Chrome Baseball and there was two X-Factor packs plus a few decent rookies and a 1987 Throwback. Where is the best place to look at the whole list of value for these cards rather than Beckett since you have to subscribe to it. Trying to find a free price guide. Thank you for your time and all you're doing. Have a bunch more I wouldn't mind looking up also.

I'm not trying to give a cop out answer. I price everything off of eBay. It takes a little longer, but you are actually researching what the cards are SELLING for, not what Beckett thinks they are worth. When you are searching for a particular card, there is a check off button in the bottom left that says "Sold Listings". Hit that and it will only show results for what sold and how much. You won't be able to see the "Buy It Now/Best Offer" final price on items sold under the value, but the saying is something is only worth what people are willing to pay.

ETA: Beckett is supposed to have my first 6 card order ready by tomorrow as the 24th is the deadline. I'll keep y'all updated with how that goes, particularly when it comes to how the service was and if they kept the deadline. And, of course, the grades.

Box came in that I ordered last week for the heck of it and this bad boy was inside. Nearly flawless card. The bottom right corner has "too much" card, so it's a little tag sticking off, but the corner itself is superb still (pic below). Anyone have any experience on what to do with it? Will BGS ding for that? Is it removable by maybe someone at a card shop that has experience if so?

Yes, they'll ding you.

No, don't try to remove it - they'll be able to tell.

What other cards did you send to BGS? I read they have been slow lately on turnaround times.

You can check what best offer cards sold for on Watchcount.

I just won a card from Probstein.

What is the Towns numbered to? What else did you get? I wouldn't try cutting the corner. Not worth the risk to me.
