NBA Finals Preview tonight

Dallas continues their east coast trip with a stop in Boston to face the two-time Eastern Conference champions at 8:00 ET on ESPN
Should be a hard-fought game, as the last time these two met, the Mavs pulled out a close one in Dallas. Although the Celtics were on the 2nd game of a back-to-back.
Dallas is playing decent basketball right now, but once they trade Butler's contract for a good wing like Iguodala or Melo they will be pretty much the clear-cut favorite in the West. Kidd/Stevenson/Melo/Dirk/Chandler with Barea/Terry/Marion/Stojakovic/Haywood off the bench will pretty much be unstoppable. Not to mention Black Jesus when his foot is good to go.
Can't wait till June. Celtics/Mavs will be an epic Finals.

If this happens I will tend to agree. BUT can they get by the Spurs in the playoffs. The Mavs have a BIG TREND of CHOKING there.

In all seriousness, I think the Mavs have the bigs down low to definitely compete with the Lakers. With or without a trade, I think the Mavs are gonna make a run to the Western Conference Finals.
