I've never seen a program that goes down to the wire with more guys and seems to get more NSD dudes than USC does every year.

Pete used to do it intentionally, especially for out of state guys, to keep local pressure off and increase buzz for the program, but then I think it just become a regional thing. You see more west coast guys committing later or on signing day generally than elsewhere.
