yea "almost", but didn't. regardless it wouldn't matter if A&M had beaten Bama by 1 point or 100 points, they still went into their house and beat them. how!? oh just how could ANY team to that to the SEC!??

How about this? If Notre Dame plays an SEC team in the BCS championship, I will bet whatever you want. No point spread. Just straight up. We'll see how much you believe that.

point is the SEC schedule is overrated. is it better than most? sure, but its overrated and not as difficult as many rednecks around here like to think it is.
2007-2012 BCS National champions say hello.

How come everyone claims LSU has a vaunted D but they gave up 35 at home to Ole Miss? Alabama great D throttled Michigan, yet ND's D gave up less yards and points to same team. You can credit the SEC defenses but not credit ND that's my issue.

I don't care about betting. what's the point? do you want to whip out rulers next?

I'm just saying the SEC schedule argument is a myth and Texas A&M has helped add even further proof to that myth.

Is anyone not crediting the ND D? They have an elite D.

And a pedestrian offense.

Just like UF. Their offense almost bit them in the arse against teams like Pitt, BYU, and Purdue.

Their D would have given up 20 points without the offense scoring enough at some point, just like with UF played against UGA.

I'm saying ND deserves to be ranked around where LSU is.

well because according to all the good ole boys around here its because of these reasons -

"Ole Miss is a rivalry game"

"Ole Miss is a good, hard nose football team"

"Ole Miss is an SEC team ya know"

the reality is that Ole Miss is a very below average football team that just got beat by Vanderbilt (lol), but because they are in the SEC some people automatically think they are some legit team.

I'm being devils advocate yes I like watching ND and I am a LSU fan. But if you want to matchup ND vs teams they come out even or ahead in total. It's just the irrational hate that bugs me.
