I didn't know it was originally held on a Saturday. My grandfather took me to that race in '97 when I was 12 years old and thought it was ran on a Sunday.

Same could be said at every track but stock cars just don't translate well here. I know the history and tradition of Indy but NASCAR just needs to drop it in favor of another short track (Iowa?) or another road course.

I'm not a road course fan but I wish they'd give a race to Road America. That's place has some good racing.
