Loved that Newman thanked the guy who decided to pave the infield.

So Newman just admitted he wrecked the guy in purpose by saying " I am not proud of it " So why doesn't NASCAR dock the sib points?

NASCAR has become a joke witg this playoff bull shyt.

Like I said, Gordon starts out Fourth in Chase, comes in second, and gets pushed BACK? I'm pretty hot right now.

Pretty sure JG would have won the Cup under the old system this year.

fricking Newman. I remember him getting his panties in a wad when the 48 slid into him this year. Guess it's ok for him to purposely wreck someone. If he wins the cup that's a damn joke.

Starting position is basically just like playoff seeding.

As for him finishing second, everyone knew the rules coming in. Gotta win. If it wasn't for that funny business with BK at TX, he'd have been aight.

ETA: Newman is showing there's more than one way to skin this Chase cat. Took a ballsy/foolhardy move to pull it off, but to advance in this playoff format without scoring a win to this point is impressive in it's own right.

I'm too impressed to be mad. Absolutely captivating Chase this year

I thought I was just coming here to see if they fought but instead I learned one of my favorite brothers isn't even a brother, he is white trash!

I'm going to laugh my arse off after NASCAR tweaked the rules to put more emphasis on wins and Newman somehow wins the title.

Will not watch another race. I refuse to watch this puppeted bullshite every week. JG didn't eliminated because he had a bad day/car/tires. He got eliminated because he didn't have anyone to wreck on the last lap.

Nascar these last two weeks has offically become the WWE, and I will not watch it. fricking bullshite that a 15th place car every week moves on cause he can wreck someone on purpose. NASCAR needs to punish Newman but they won't because they won't want to ruin the storyline of 4 gus going for their 1st title.

I hope Kevin wins. He and JG have had the fastest cars all year.

I'm not mad. I'm fricking ticked.

All JG needed to do was get a top-5 at Texas and a top-10 today. He had a 28 point lead with 4 laps to go and pulling away at Texas. Then Brad blew that to hell.

JG deserved at shot at the title with the way he's raced all year. But instead of him we get one tPOS (Newman) and two others (Hamlin/Logano) that even they do win the title they will be forgotten about 5 years from now.

This series is a fricking joke.

Edit: With the rules changes next year this was JG's last and best shot to win a title. And he's doesn't because fricking nobodies lose their heads at the end of races.

He's such a douche. He won a bunch of races on fuel strategy one year with Penske. Other than that he doesn't done jack.

Put me on team Harvick.

NASCAR gave a nice incentive to wreck other drivers. Elimination on the line? Run someone into the wall if in doubt. They are going to regret that aspect of it.

So he's still behind the same three people he was behind in points plus the guy who won the race. Nothing to be hot about. Did you know the rules?

Everyone did then. He had no respect until the Tony Stewart fight.. He was a spoiled rich kid with a stage dad.
