In honor of Utah's vast musical heritage as attested to by their NBA team the Utah Jazz, I hereby name them the Utah Ukuleles

Just steal the New Orleans hockey franchise name like they did with the Jazz and go by the Utah Brass.

They didn’t steal the name. The team moved there.

Should move the team to Quebec City. This team will have to compete with the Jazz in Utah. Gary Bettman just does not want teams in Canada

Why does that matter? Thats the case in like a dozen cities and it works just fine. Not to mention they don't have baseball or football to compete with like many others. This is actually a perfect situation for both the city and the team.

SLC does not have the size to support two teams playing in the same season frame.

Bittman has put two teams in Canada during his tenure, and fought like hell to make sure Edmonton didn't move in the early 2000s like they could have.

There is no one in Quebec that wants to own the team. No one. You can't have a team if you don't have an owner.

Canada is literally falling apart as an economic engine in real time. It's going to be harder and harder to keep a team there, at all.

That's all true but I sure would love to see the Nordiques return. I'd love to see the Whalers back in Hartford, too, but it'll never happen.

I'd also love to see them go back to the old division names.
