My question is who are the 15 idiots who didn't vote for him to get in the Hall? Guy was as dominant as it gets. I watched his 20 strikeout game vs. the Reds and that slider has the the nastiest pitch in baseball history. Name a pitch more devastating. It was literally hitting the back foot of right handed batters and they were swinging anyway.

4 straight Cy Youngs, 4500+ strikeouts, 300+ wins, perfect game, yet 15 people didn't vote for him to get in.

I think occasionally they aren't protest votes, but because some people know he's getting in, and they think 10 other guys are deserving as well they will leave a guy like Johnson off.

It's a better question to ask who had the best of each kind of pitch.

Mariano = Cutter
Ryan = Fastball
ETC.

Johann Santana's change-up for a three-year stretch with the Twins was absolutely devastating.
