Jose Ramirez had a 7 game streak where he hit 14 extra base hits...never been done in the modern era.

How bout my Home-boy Ben Gamel. Grew up in the same neighborhood, he went to my elementary school and high school. He leads the AL right now in batting. Nobody is talking about him. He was teammates with Judge in AAA for the Yankees, then traded to Seattle last year. Hes killin it with the Mariners this year. It's awesome as shite to watch, he's also had a #1 play on sports center top ten with a catch at the wall that knocked his hat off this year.

Jon Gray, pitcher for the colorado rockies, hits a 467 ft bomb and pimps it....yesterday

I just don't think it is a big deal but I'm also use to Randy Johnson hitting it consistently. Kershaw was the first since 2002 but prior to that it happened more thanks to Johnson and Schilling.
If Sale does it great but I'm not as impressed with it as other stats.

Are the baseballs juiced or is just the approach by hitters? The whole fly balls only Homer/Strikeout/Walk

Probably a bit of both tge seams were apparently lowered and some hitters have evolved a more fly ball approach

Royals coming back from 10-20 to currently occupy the second AL wild card spot.

the clear top two storylines of the first half are the home runs and the cubs dynasty not really taking off but there are some nice examples in this thread to really show how baseball has had a great year so far

Nobody has mentioned Zack Cozart yet. He's worthy of a shout out at the break for sure
