Difference is the NFL doesn't have a looming billion dollar lawsuit about under inflated footballs coming it's way

Sorry for your bad luck but 2 wrongs don't make a right
Difference also is it wasnt the second time our organization had been publicly caught cheating........

He's got a lot of opinions and talks outside the realm of sports in his comparisons.

I like him. I can pick the opinions I like. I don't have to agree with most of what he says.

Which do you think the league cares more about? Billions of dollars or two totally different offenses by the same organization?

Billions of dollars. Look I dont really care but I truly think the Patriots are going to get a bigger penalty than their fanbase is expecting

It's not the opinions I dislike, per se. It's the yelling and his voice.

I sure would. It really matters to Belichek's legacy. So I would have it done without his participation in preparation or on field adjustments.

He would not miss a beat if you take draft picks. He can pick up free agents who are demonstrated NFL players, instead of gambling on rookies.
And he has several later round picks anyway. You KNOW he would pick guys who can play in the league, and he'd replace the #1 picks with actual starters in the league.

I am now looking forward to the real penalty; $25K is going to seem like a slap on the wrist after all this pretending we are the commissioner for a day.

And I think they'll get a much less penalty than saints fans wish they would get because misery loves company

Kraft would have Goodell in a body bag if he tried to overstep this

Belichek has came out that he didn't know anything about the balls. Now if it comes out that he is in fact liening.....

I think Belichick would opt to retire instead of put himself through two training camps with a camera crew following him around.
He allowed a film crew to film his entire 2009 season fwiw
And he's filmed other teams as well

I think CBB should be punhished for the Colts trading a first round pick for Richardson, the Colts not being able to build a defense since Manning was there etc

Whatever happens happens even if we lose CBB for the superbowl I have enough confidence in Brady and Revis to not fall apart

I don't see how the deflated balls gave NE some unfair advantage.

Wouldnt bother Brady; he never gets a first round offensive player like it is.

Anyone saying that it didnt matter 45-7... the footballs werent the problem....

Well then why did they risk it then? Deflating the balls is cheating bigtime.... and its not like u havent been caught before.... but if u know u can get away with it........

Which is worse the Pats cheating again or the refs being so incompetent that they didnt notice?

I would say hit them with draft picks but the Patriots stock so many and thrive outside the 1st round anyway.

They need to suspend him for first 6 games next year and not allow GM to work like they did Loomis for those 6 games as well.

The Patriots need to pay big time.

-The team is fined $1 million for each ball that was underinflated

-The team is disqualified from the SB and the Colts take their place

-Belichick and Brady banned from the NFL and all records wiped out.

-Kraft is forced to sell the team

-The team is required to wear a big 'C' (for cheaters) patch on their uniforms for 5 years

-The team is not allowed to touch official game balls prior to kick-off

-The team is not allowed use of any video equipment during the season

-The team must read "mean tweets" to be aired on the NFL network every week for the next season

-The name of the team will be changed from "Patriots" to "Cheating Traitors" until the team is officially sold

-The team is forced to visit the White House and meet with Obama
