It just goes to show you how long it takes to overcome a nine iron induced concussion.

Concussions are serious business.

I don't ever recall hearing this, except maybe when guys come from nowhere and win a major. When Rory broke through most were immediately comparing him to Tiger

Rory didn't come from nowhere. He entered professional golf with a lot of hype. And now at a very early age he already has one major win, and another near major win. He ascended to the world #1 ranking very quickly.

Not to mention that Tiger being good again and chasing Jack's record is good for golf and the media that covers golf.

I really think the tv executives push their broadcasters to go overboard in their Tiger praise. The tv execs want ratings, and Tiger brings it.

Personally, I don't think he will ever be back to being the dominant Tiger of old on a consistent basis, but he will likely be dominant through a few tournaments each year.

I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was.

I agree 100% with your last statement. I have never said that Tiger will not win another major. He won't do it like the old days, but he's still gonna have a great weekend here and there.

True.

Not really. My former boss is a member there and I played Bay Hill pretty frequently when I lived there. Tiger wasn't known to play the course that often and definitely not often enough for it to even remotely be considered his home course.

Tons of pros live in or used to live in Orlando but are members at other courses. No one would try to dismiss their victories with some lame comment that since they live in or used to live in Orlando that Bay Hill is practically their home course.

I think you misunderstood me. Rory was my example of what is said about winners that don't come from nowhere.

I'm glad to see my man Tiger is finally back. He will win the Masters this year.

His problem has always been the divorce and all the mental repercussions of the divorce. I believe he's over it now. I was surprised that he took that long to get his head on straight.

I guarantee a Masters victory.

Yes winning at a place where he is 123 under par on the par 5's alone and where he won 6 times and now 7 proves he is back. Not having to compete with anyone on the back nine also proves your thinking. Lets wait and see what happens when he actually has a challenge down the stretch before talking like his mental game is back.

$100 he doesn't...

In fact, $100 more says he never wins another major.

Is that really his fault? The course played tough yesterday hence the high scores. He could have easily shot +2 like G Mac.

If you're serious about this bet, I'd like to arrange a meeting, but $100 is not worth the effort to me, I'll go for a dime.

You can't be serious.

NEVER?

I'll actually go 10 dimes on that.

Never.

I've studied way too much about the mental game to know how fricked up in the head he is.

Plus, the entire field is no longer scared of what used to be an immovable force.

$100 is all I can afford, I'm only in college.

Gosh isn't it just so much fun to penalize people for winning by a wider margin than 1 shot
