As someone who typically rips the NFL, I think this is one of the cooler things any sports league has done in a long time. Yea it's just cleats, not some game changing thing, but pretty cool IMO.

What's everyone else's thoughts?

I think they started this because some player wanted to wear blue cleats for prostate cancer or autism or something.

And the NFL said no or they would fine him.

And the NFL got a lot of crap for that. So the NFL started this cleat thing for some positive PR.

Brandon Marshall has been fined more than once I'm pretty sure for wearing green cleats for mental health awareness.

They should be able to do this whenever they want imo.

It'll be ruined once some dumbass wants to wear cleats for black lives matter or some other terrorist organization. Hopefully they've got some ground rules in place.

Glad they changed their minds and just decided to let the Titans and browns participate next week since they were on byes this week... Idk what there is to lose for the NFL by players doing something like this every week in some form or fashion, they're still wearing liscensed brands.

What I'm saying is that the NFL started that specifically because they got crap for not letting Brandon Marshall wear green cleats for mental health awareness as someone mentioned above.

They are looking for the good PR specifically because they got bad PR on this very issue previously.
