Ovechkin is a shell of his former self, it's quite sad really.

I don't get it. Why does he keep trying the same move over and over?!? At this point just rip it once you get an angle inside the blue.

I think I'll wait until we've at least played 100 minutes of hockey before I say Ovie is a shell of his former self. But my God, 5 power play goals allowed on 14 shots? That's awful. And a big screw you to Roman Hamrlik for screening Holtby on the second goal.

That is one of the worst periods of hockey I have ever seen. What. The. frick.

They, quite literally, did nothing right.

Not saying this is his fault, but Holtby shouldn't start next game.

Yeah, Holtby needs to sit. That last goal would be unacceptable in rec league. The Jets, playing the second night of a back to back, are outshooting the Caps 33-17. That's insane.

Final Score Dallas 2 Detroit 1 (gift goal by the refs on a bogus call near the end costing the Stars the shutout, both players should have been in the box).

I'm not sure what Been wants other than "out of Dallas".

He can sign with the Stars and get his wish in a couple of years when the owner moves the team to Seattle.

That or he hates playing with his brother.
