What is immediately the most recognizable college team when you turn on the TV you know who’s playing.
We all know the obvious answer is Michigan; but after Michigan who you got?
Actually, I would have to think that nationwide, LSU has to be very high on that list.
Michigan
Tennessee
LSU (white jerseys)
Clemson (all orange)
Ohio State
Alabama (Dark jerseys)
Texas (Dark jerseys)
Miami
Penn State

There’s a good reason why Best Buy and other TV/streaming services use them in their ads for their products.

Notre Dame. Gold helmets with no markings, jerseys with no names on them.

Tennessee is a good one. That orange & the checkerboard end zone

You're asking the wrong demographic on a LSU message board. 99.9% of posters see the uniforms for an SEC team or a blue blood and they know exactly who they are.
This would be a useful exercise on another forum that isn't centered around college football.

I disagree with notre dame. There uniforms are generic. Sometimes when they played navy, you’d have to wait till a close up to see which was which

Oregon?
There aren’t a lot of teams fighting for lime and metallic greens.

Can’t include Alabama on this list.
At a quick glance it could just as easily be Oklahoma, or hell even Arkansas.
UGA is more instantly recognizable than Bama, although Nebraska looks similar to them. The red vs white helmets make it easier to differentiate though.
To a lesser extent I’d also take off Penn State as Auburn is fairly similar if you’re just flipping channels.
Add UCLA, Boise State, and obviously Oregon imo.
Texas A&M is pretty distinguishable imo.
