So many guys in the NBA are cookie-cutout. One guy puts on those stupid glasses, everybody's putting them on. The next thing they'll be carrying canes to the games as fashion pacemakers. It's getting out of hand with all that

I know a lot of people here hate the nerd look that NBA players have taken on.

On a side note, if Monty coached a big market team he'd be one ESPN daily. He cracks my shite up constantly. Very funny and truthful guy.

Just trying to teach young guys how to adapt to the league quicker, and it's hard. This generation of players, they're so nice to each other, it's almost sickening. Guys make a mistake and everybody's like [in sissy voice] "Oh don't worry about it, we'll get it next time" And that's not the mentality you have to have in the NBA, these guys will try to take your head off every night.

Another one.

Monty is to the Hornets what Sean Payton is to the Saints. He may not have all the glitz, glamour, and rings to back him up, but he's just as important

Good lord, will everybody get a grip and tone down all of the Monty love. He's a good, young coach with some potential, but he hasn't proven anything in the league yet. He took a borderline playoff team and coached them to a bottom 5 record last season. Get some perspective. The most important thing that happened to the Hornets is getting lucky in the lottery. That's what is going to turn the team around, not the Coach..

Btw, that statement is just wrong and borderline blasphemy. The Hornets are a sub .500 team this coming season. Without Monty that might only win 25 instead of 35. Try to measure that against the impact of Payton missing the season. Saints might only win 5 or 6 games this year and were projected around 12-13 wins. That's not even close..

I never even called him a great coach, I just said he's hilarious.

For the record, he is a good coach too. This was just about Monty speakin truth

Not to mention the one real talented player only played 9 games and other solid players were getting injured throughout the year. There's no way you can deny that the Cavs and Wizards were more talented than the Hornets last year, yet the Hornets finished ahead of both.

Could be worse. They could go back to how they dressed before the dress code.
