perfect timing tho with them struggling to the deadline and lacking left-handed hitting. could be desperate.

Bellinger, Verdugo out of #Dodgers’ lineup at AA. Source says it is “random” and not related to trades.

Sources: #Dodgers pursuing #Rays’ Archer. One of many pitching options under consideration. Likely weighing values of other TB starters too.

Nope. This time of year a guy doesn't get scratched from a bad teams lineup just for a "day off"

Time to see just how much of a steal the Rangers got with Lucas Harrell.

The Yankees are listening to offers on right fielder/designated hitter Carlos Beltran, tweets ESPN’s Buster Olney. However, executives from other clubs tell Olney that they consider the asking price on Beltran to be “beyond their reach.”

if Yankees don't trade Beltran, any chance they bring him back next year to DH?

Bobby Evans just dropped his phone down the dugout stairs. Just so other GMs are aware, he didn't intentionally hang up on you.

I'd set Gardner, Tex, and McCann free before Beltran.

Doubtful... I can't see them doing that unless they make a big trade this offseason with the prospects they picked up.

Mets officials are focused on trying to get a trade for Lucroy or Jay Bruce completed by tomorrow’s 4pm ET non-waiver deadline, writes ESPN New York’s Adam Rubin. They’re back in the mix alongside the Rangers as well, it seems.

The Rangers are “strongly in the mix” for Lucroy, tweets Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. Grant, meanwhile, tweets that the Rangers are having “productive” trade conversations, which he presumes pertain to Lucroy.

Heyman also reports that the Cubs were in the mix as one of the aforementioned “mystery teams” on Lucroy, but talks never got especially far, as Chicago felt that the Brewers were factoring an “in-division” tax into talks

Yea, apparently a trade surrounding Gallo for Lucroy is rumored being finalized. Good trade for rangers- he can hit and lower ERA with framing ability

Haven't found anything regarding the headliner yet. Hope it's Gallo.

If Tate wasn't such a mess, would feel better about losing Ortiz. Should be more ready as a top 5 pitcher fresh out of college
